DBI is growing rapidly and it is our mission to continue to offer the best service and personnel available.

As with all our instructors our newest recruits bring with them some special skills that set them apart from other scuba instructors, which in turn allow us to offer a specialised and comprehensive service. Their specialities include driver propulsion vehicles, cave diving, oceanography, hyperbaric medicine, rebreathers and “Tech” diving.
The latest additions to our amazing global team of instructors are:

Saki Ono brings a wealth of experience in filming and photography as well as having amazing dive knowledge in the following destinations: Bali, Maldives, Egypt, Vanuatu, Australia and Vietnam. Antonio Barone is a great instructor who truly enjoys sharing his passion for the underwater world with new and old divers alike. His dive experiences spans over more than 15 years.  With intimate knowledge of the Maldives, Seychelles, Italy and Egypt, he has more than 5000 dives.  He always has a patient smile for you and will make even the most nervous of divers feel at ease and relaxed.  Read more…

Salvatore Lossaco brings with him his love and passion for the oceans. In addition to being an experienced instructor, he is also a Marine Biologist, a writer, a documentary producer and underwater video/photo specialist. He has worked in the Maldives, and has in-depth knowledge of Egypt, Indonesia, Maldives, Croatia and many other great destinations. Read more…

Elisa Buller enriches us with her many years of experience in the yacht industry.  She is instrumental in helping us establish our presence in the USA, has more than 10,000 dives, knows Pilates, SUP, and has great diving knowledge of most Caribbean destinations including the Bahamas and the Florida coast.  Read more…

Peter Zagol, another very experienced instructor, patient and thorough, with over 5,000 dives. When diving with him, you are absolutely in good hands. In addition to knowing the Maldives very well, he brings experience of diving in Australia, Vanuatu, Malaysia and Bali, and a total passion for conservation programs. Read more…
