Todd Thimios is an Australian photographer and author who has spent the past 20 years travelling extensively around the world capturing and creating visions of our oceans. His work explores the depth and complexity of what lies below the surface. From large marine megafuna in the Galapagos to the macro world of Indonesia, Todd’s work communicates an intricate balance and synchronicity that is our oceans.
His photography of marine life and underwater seascapes shines a spotlight on marine ecosystems, whilst also bringing attention to the plight of our seas.
His hope is that his imagery will not only connect people with the world beneath the surface, but it will also aid in global marine conservation efforts.
