At Dive Butler International, we believe the ocean belongs to everyone. That’s why we are proud to work with Sophie Morgan—broadcaster, campaigner, and passionate advocate for accessibility—as our Dive Butler Ambassador.
Sophie’s journey with us began at Amilla Maldives, where she trained under the guidance of Dive Butler’s Founder & Managing Director, Alexis Vincent. Together, they explored ways to make diving more inclusive, proving that barriers can be broken and new frontiers opened.
“When you’re underwater, you leave limitations behind. The ocean doesn’t judge—it frees you.” – Sophie Morgan
Training with Purpose
As part of our collaboration, Sophie has been actively involved in shaping PADI training for accessibility and inclusivity across all Dive Butler Centres. From creating adaptive approaches for guests to raising awareness within the dive industry, she’s helping to ensure that the wonders of the ocean are truly open to everyone.
A Shared Vision
For Sophie, diving is more than a sport—it’s a transformative experience that can empower people of all abilities. For us, it’s a chance to reaffirm our commitment to inclusivity and to lead the way in offering bespoke, adaptive experiences that honour every guest’s unique journey.
“Working with Sophie pushes us to go further—to innovate, to adapt, and to make diving accessible in ways the industry has never seen before.” – Alexis Vincent
Looking Ahead
Sophie’s role as Dive Butler Ambassador is just the beginning. Together, we’re developing programmes, training, and initiatives that will expand opportunities for accessible diving across the Maldives and beyond.
This is not only about diving—it’s about changing perspectives, challenging norms, and creating a world where everyone can explore the ocean’s magic.

“I’ve been paralysed for nearly twenty years and have always wanted to learn to dive, but it wasn’t until I met Alexis … that I realised my life had been missing something. Alexis and the Dive Butler team went above and beyond … understand how to adapt everything … so that, as a disabled person, you never feel at a disadvantage.”
