Dive Butler Founder & Managing Director, Alexis Vincent, was recently featured in TILT – The Inclusive Luxury Traveller, sharing his journey through diving, ocean exploration, and the philosophy behind building Dive Butler.
“When I founded Dive Butler, I wasn’t trying to build a dive company.
I was trying to solve a disconnect.”
From his earliest dives to creating bespoke underwater experiences for superyachts, private travellers, and luxury resorts around the world, the conversation reflects on how the ocean continues to shape both his perspective and the brand.
The interview also explores the future of luxury travel beneath the surface, the importance of ocean stewardship, and the responsibility that comes with experiencing these environments over time.
“Once you’ve seen reefs change over decades – both decline and resilience – something shifts.
You lose the ability to be neutral.
Presence creates responsibility.
And the same applies to the land.
Forests and oceans are not separate conversations. They are part of the same living system.
Luxury operators, in particular, have a responsibility to lead – through education, through investment, through example.”
