Born in California, moved at an early age to the Caribbean, where I started to scuba dive, surf and sail as a kid. I later moved to Miami where I finished my studies and became a dive instructor. I then moved back to the Caribbean, where I started a diving business in 1985 and I have been involved in the Industry ever since.
My life is the ocean, my passion is the sky: on my time off I travel with my glider discovering new sites.
After a life changing event in 1994 (a flight accident), I’ve embarked on a Journey to experiencing the planet in 3 dimensions: land - ocean – sky; as of 2015 it’s been 104 countries. The magic, more than the destinations and adventure, has been the amazing people that I’ve meet along the way!
Career Highlights:
- Becoming a hand to mouth shark feeder and befriending the shark legends.
- Trained with Cristina Zenato (The Shark Whisper) in Free Port Bahamas (Caribbean Reef Sharks).
- Extensive time in the Silver Bank, with Humpback Whales with Capt. Tom Conllin.
- Spent time diving in Antarctica with Amos Nachoum.
- Time in the water with ORCAS in Norway / Amos Nachoum.
- Spending time in Galapagos / Hammerheads and Whale Sharks.
