Responsible Ocean Experiences

Education plays an important role in responsible ocean experiences. Through informative pre-activity briefings, guests learn about responsible diving and snorkelling practices, local marine life and how to interact respectfully with the ecosystems they are about to experience. Our team also uses a marine-life conservation card during briefings to reinforce these guidelines.

Our team participates in beach, reef and underwater clean-up activities where opportunities arise. Blue Wave also supports marine awareness through initiatives such as Marine Knowledge Seminars for resort staff.

Community Clean-Up Initiatives

 

Taking Action Together

Through ongoing staff training and practical measures, we encourage responsible practices both above and below the surface. All Blue Wave staff have completed the Green Fins conservation course, strengthening their knowledge of responsible diving and marine conservation practices.

We have also introduced measures to reduce single-use plastics, including the removal of plastic bin bags from our operations and the use of reusable glass bottles for drinking water. Staff are trained to segregate waste at the dive centre and on our vessels.
